Das Château Corbin ist ein Grand Cru Classé in Saint-Emilion. Es ist seit einem Jahrhundert im Besitz derselben Familie. Der 1 ha große Weinberg ist auf einem Lehmsockel gepflanzt, der den Merlot (80% des Bestandes) begünstigt, der durch Cabernet Franc ergänzt wird. Das Durchschnittsalter der Rebstöcke beträgt 30 Jahre. Der Wein von Château Corbin bietet eine schöne, saftige und konzentrierte Frucht mit einer interessanten Lagerungsperspektive.

The 2022 Corbin has turned out beautifully, bursting with aromas of cherries and raspberries mingled with hints of violets, vine smoke and bay leaf. Medium to full-bodied, supple and velvety, it's bright, perfumed and polished, but with a touch more mid-palate density and texture than is habitual for this elegant-styled wine. It's a blend of 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc, and such was the quality of all the lots that no second wine was produced this year.
